Capitol on 28th, is a 223 class-A community in Oklahoma City. Capitol is well positioned as the low-cost provider of quality housing in a growing, job-heavy submarket near the state capitol. We acquired this asset on an attractive cap rate with the expectation of an attractive cash yield. Our investment these was predicated on the belief that installing washer & dryer connections on the property would add value and allow for increased rents. We also constructed an additional 8 units in under-utilized space in the clubhouse which were leased at premium rents. The asset was acquired in August 2018.
